Huntington Chicago Jazz

Chicago Jazz joins us from Debbie Neame's Trelawney Stud and we are very happy to welcome him to the stud to take over stud duties from our elderly stallions. Jazz is a solid medium sized stallion with excellent bone and the most placid temperament. He is well marked and has inherited the exquisite head from his grandsire, Redacres Jonathon. We hope he will pass on both his type and colour to his foals for us, the first of which will arrive in spring 2013.

Fenwick Trooper

A young sire, up to height with good bone and lovely markings. Trooper is producing big solid foals with his rich colour and height. Limited progeny available for purchase.

Tara Park Galliano

Our youngest stallion.

Galliano is a lovely young stallion with great markings and a kind temperament. He has been shown successfully and has developed into a very solid stallion. He has been used sparingly thus far and his first foal is a lovely chestnut pinto filly.

Lerwick Urs

Urs has just returned to us after being sold as a weanling at our annual pony sale. He is the offspring of two of our best producing ponies, both of whom passed away last year in their early thirties. Urs has lovely bone and a very kind temperament. He is running with some of our maiden mares and we look forward to his foals next year.

Glen-Dara Titian

Titian is a gorgeous stallion who has made a big impact at Lerwick Stud. Titian produces lovely solid foals with very pretty heads and quiet temperaments. He is now retired from stud duties and runs with some of our grand old ladies for company.

Among his most successful progeny are Millbrae Isadora, Woodview Teagan, Woodview Echo and Shambala Park Phoebe. His 2006 colt, Lerwick Xcel, was Champion Shetland Colt and Grand Champion Shetland at the 2007 VIC APSB Foal Show. One of Titian's final foals was Lerwick Bronte, who is having huge success in the show ring including winning Supreme Champion Pinto at Melbourne Summer Royal in 2014.

Titian passed away in April 2016 aged 33yrs.

Lerwick Auburn

Liver Chestnut Stallion,  10.1hh

Lerwick Auburn is also 30 years of age but is older than Titian by one week. Auburn has been a resident stallion at Lerwick Stud throughout his life and has sired many quality ponies over the years of all sizes and colours. He can be found in the pedigrees of many ponies throughout Australia.

His 2006 filly, Lerwick Xenia, was Champion Shetland Filly at the 2007 Vic APSB Foal Show.

Auburn passed away in March 2013.
